Racing Fashion at Navan RacecourseIt was great to be asked back again by the team at Navan Racecourse to photograph their summer Ladies Day – A Legacy of Style on Saturday June 11 – I’ve previously covered their 2015 summer and winter ladies days. The day was sponsored by Nvey Beauty & Hair (Navan), Stiletto Boutique (Trim) and Ebony Ladies Fashion (Trim). Joanne Larby of The Make up Fairy judged the dazzling display of style and we dodged the nearby thunderstorms (!) for everyone to enjoy an excellent afternoon of racing and fashion. Local lady Veronica Marley, in a cream and pink outfit with an impressive floral hat, took the best dressed prize.
I'm posting my favourite fashion shots here - and the full gallery of shots can be viewed, shared and tagged here on Facebook. High resolution digital files, prints and framed prints are available from John Coveney Photography here. Of course, a day at the races is not just about fashion, there’s horses, jockeys, bookies, punters, parties, stags and hens and maybe even a few normal people as well! So, check back in a few days for the rest of my personal picks from the day. Let start with some shots of the best dressed winner, Veronica Marley.
